I know how Arlo feels.

A renovated movie theatre (originally from the silents) ran Psycho for Halloween one year. Some “young adults” started laughing about a third of the way through because parts of it are very dated. I wanted to turn around and say “There’s no laughing during Psycho!”

How about talking to a 38-year-old who didn’t know what, “Good night Gracie” meant.

Alfred Hitchcock’s TV show is still being shown, on MeTV after midnight, so you can still hear him say “Good evening”.

I have to explain, “No, that’s not a chiché! That’s the original that spawned the chiché.”

He’s still a fun one to mimic
