My new kitty thinks I’m a tree, and now he’s become a treat-junky.

I’m allergic to cats, but I had a dog that was the same way about Beets. One night we left him some leftover beet slices with his food. The next morning we found the beet slices in a pile next to the food dish. A couple weeks later we fed him early enough to watch, and again we left the leftover beet slices. In full view he picked up the beets slice by slice and laid them in a pile beside the food dish, then ate his food.

I have been lucky…I hide the medicine in a chunk of food and it never fails to get eaten. Heck, I don’t announce it’s in there to the cats or dog!!!! Usually I dot bits of something yummy on the service and they dig right in.

lol, this is so true! Also cats/dogs would totally be able to smell a sardine in there, my dogs went nuts over just the oil from the can!
