Ah. The old adage “Absents make the heart grow fonder.” Or in the case of Rita (and my former boss) “Absents promotes productivity.”

Less interferrance, more accomplished. Dana likely approved the equipment they needed to finish projects.

I actually really like Rita. She is delusional but in a fun sort of way…

… and the week before that was in negative numbers thanks to all the additional tasks she piled on everyone before she left.

Rita has literally quoted my old boss (who I did really really like) on a number of occasions.

So true. My company just moved me into a new building, and now my boss only checks on my progress about once every other week. My productivity has skyrocketed.

I am a supervisor, and when I am not in the office half of the workers keep getting their work done and the other half don’t. I always find out what didn’t get done when I get calls/e-mails from customers asking about status. Luckily for me both of the slackers left last week. One found a job making $2 more an hour and the other one moved out of state. Now I hope that I get a couple new people that will be good workers.
