Good morning all Crustwoodians. Welcome to the cartoon that reminds us that we’re not so bad after all.

This one is so far out I had to read it several times. WRONG on so many levels that the only thing I can safely say; “Ma, your shoelace is untied”.

Is there a message in there somewhere, Burl? Oddly enough, I’ve never heard of exercise equipment being stolen, but I suppose it’s possible.

    Morning, all.

Burl is such a mench! So thoughtful. And, I suspect, has given up on the old recipe of “a hot meal every night and sex three times a week.” Although, Joy adores her boy so much, who knows?

Wow, good morning all — I’m glad I made it to Crustwood in time to witness this touching display.

If he only had a brain….. that says it well.

I hope he at least also gave her the bouquet of artificial roses he’s been pulling out of the drawer every anniversary.

Burl, people leave exercycles out on the lawn overnight after unsuccessful garage sales, just hoping someone will steal them.

But what a presentation — it’s like he’s trying to see how many people he can embarrass at once….

It worked — and poor Patty is mortified.

But Jerry watches the master, to learn a few tricks of the romantic trade.

He got a frosty reception last year, giving Verl a wad of his hair combings for their “anniversary”.

BTW I do NOT want to go anyplace where there’s a chance ol’ Jer’s chads will be dangling.

    Ever.

Too bad the title “Rubes” is already taken. That fits this group to a T. :-D

the more you think about this one more absurd it gets. burl is beyond clueless, but i can’t think of a word for his mental state — maybe he should be given his own, as in “he pulled another burl today,” or “i really burled that one.”

I’m also annoyed that Cable company does not have “Boss”; I watch Cheers and Fraiser among my nighttime diversions, but they have that as a premium channel (like HBO
