In a Advanced structural materials class lab (Aeronautical engineering), we were to write a 30 page report on an aircraft designed and built with advanced materials. It was worth 1/10 of the lab grade which was 1/4 of the total class grade. As I had a bunch of other papers to write at the same time that were worth up to 3/4 of the class grade, I ended up blowing it off. The “funny” part of the story is that as part of my research I wrote to the manufacture for information, and on the day before the paper was due, I received a nice picture of the plane. So I signed that and turned it in. This comic was basically the result of that, that and a 3.8 grade in the class.
