The True Reason: Although Gina got the due date wrong, Nate shouldn’t show off and insult others, like Mrs. Godfrey said. That’s disrespectful. I also liked how Gina was being honest to her.

This is a faults on both sides situation. I think Mrs. Godfrey isn’t inclined to give Nate slack because of his long record of being…well…Nate. He does bad stuff all the time and refuses to learn from it
