Feeling sorry that you let him win, giving him the biggest confidence boost of all time and making him ready to take on the entire world of chess only to have Francis break the truth to him, completely crushing his hopes and dreams. This is your fault for lying to him.
Everyone says this is either Artur or Francis’ fault but I mostly still blame Nate. I feel bad for him, yes, but he did this to himself. He’s the one who for ages and ages simply refused to grow as a person. He clings to selfishness and bitterness. If he’d even attempted to work through his hatred for Artur, or ANY of his issues, he wouldn’t have been so deeply affected by Artur throwing the game. In fact, that probably wouldn’t have even happened. Yeah, this is mostly on Nate right now
