The funniest part is how all through the 90’s, whenever video games came up they were referred to as “Nintendo”. Marty was even depicted playin on an NES once (at least I think it was an NES). Lincoln Pierce really knows how to adapt his work to a rapidly changing audience, and I think that’s something that should be appreciated. It’s also why Big Nate has stayed so popular for so long. Throughout the past thirty years, Pierce has never stopped adding new characters, trying new dynamics, taking risks and adjusting his nuances to keep in touch with new readers.
