Tim says, "You're the nickname guy, right?" Nate says, "Yup! I think up all the best nicknames!" Tim says, "Well, I need a nickname. I hate my name." Nate says, "What is it?" Tim says "Tim. There are ten other Tims in the school." Nate says, "Okay, let me see what I can do.I don't usually invent nicknames on demand, but give me a sec. Maybe something will come to me." Nate says, "Your nickname is 'Zip'." Tim says, "'Zip'! I like it!" Tim says, "...And it's so much better than Tim! 'Zip'! Ha Ha! Thanks a lot!" Francis says, "Somebody's happy!" Nate says, "Somebody's fly was open."

No, it’s just different time zones. GoComics probably posts new comics when their time zone hits 12:00am, so that doesn’t mean everyone will get it at midnight. You’re in a different time zone, so you get them at a different time than other people.

Never really had a nickname, once I tried to be know as “The Phoneix” but that didn’t work out, so now I guess my nickname is “The Impostor”

I was mostly invisible in school so I didn’t get a nick, except by someone at the bottom of the societal heap. Can’t nick someone above you, so go for someone not part of the chain… He and maybe a couple others of his status used it. Nothing to do with my name though- I was blessed to be given one that has no easy rhyme and is also not in the top 50 or so, so when someone yells the name they really are probably calling to me.

The only nicknames I get are from my family, and they’re just short ways of saying my name.
P.S. I couldn’t comment yesterday, and I wanted to say that, believe it or not, I still have Halloween candy from last year :O
