Who needs a car radio when Dad is his own entertainment system!

That’s PRECISELY why you need a car radio!

I always love to see Mr. Otterloop’s teeny-tiny car (kinda like mine). Luckily, however, I do not have autodrivelalia.Wuckawuckawucka!

No, that’s “car sickness”. Different issue. Autodrivelalia usually manifests following the discovery of children (not your own self) in the back seat of the car. You can ask Petey for the details.

Ok, but what do they call it when you say silly things and sing songs when you are not driving, but just doing ordinary, everyday stuff?

Well, at least other motorists are spared in cold weather.

By the look of Alice’s eyes I don’t think she enjoys it.

And Ben demonstrates where it all starts.

Isn’t parent-induced embarrassment supposed to set in during the teenage years? Or is Alice really that precocious?

This is the first time I’ve seen Mr. Otterloop do something silly.

I love Alice’s eyes in the car in the middle panel. It’s like a silent scream for help!

Traffic carols! Brings back fond memories. We always sang the more traditional German version of “Oh Traffic Light” (O Verkehrsampel, O Verkehrsampel…)

I love this cartoon and it’s oddities. Fortunate to not have any relation to my own life;-)

Well. That collection of utterances in panel 2 was … interesting.
