What is a pop-up, and why is it under the Penny’s toilet? Do I really want to know?

Two nitwits …Good morning all

Morning Crustwood —

….though I’m off to bed in a minute….

I googled toilet pop-up, toilet tank pop-up, etc and all I found were pop-up urinals in London…

Which is strange enough on its own but doesn’t answer the question.

And I have two other questions besides -

1) The top window pane looks as though it used to say “Comics.com”, but it’s been partially erased.

What is that mystery object in the middle pane, the next one down?

2)Joy wants to ask Ma (??) (or somebody named Mai or Major?) the day of “Little Xmas.”

The only “Little Christmas” I know of is Epiphany in Ireland…. anybody know what else she means?

And …… after months of “rinsing” and wearing, either Joy’s blouse is so dirty it grew extra flowers,

or some of the orange ones died and turned brown.

Think very simple books (mostly for children, that have “pop-up” displays and pictures in them), one that’s been sitting under the back of the toilet for a bit too long….

So glad to see Leaky and Marg back in Crustwood. We got Get Well cards for you—2 for 1 at the Dollar Store— but we were waiting for our “forever” stamps to double in value. Guess you didn’t really need the cards, so we’ll save them for when you really do.

Looks to me like it says " Call mayor re: day of little ?_?"..(xmas ?).At first I thought it was the famous…. Green Blouse with Orange Flowers…. but no…. It is only a mutant of it….

I can’t make out TO DO item 3 " Call Marlene ?_? Corning ?_?".I have given up complaining about GoComics “Quailty Control”. They had the magnifier right …..But then reduced it on the same day they finally made it work for Sunday…. ONE step forward TWO steps back…. ! ? ! ?

Yeah, Burl lets her do all the talking so she can distract people while he loads up with free and pilfered stuff. Kinda like a pair of grifters.

I thought there might be a pop-up deodorizer but couldn’t google one.

And with the confusion today because EYES are the windows to the soul, the 2-lips of chocolate or black are very apropo;-P

Knowing the Pennys, deoderizer is the best bet (I hope the Fanny Mays were not hidden there); item in middle window looks like a burger (maybe a cachepot shaped like one) and Joy is a Libra like me? Rather not share birthdays with her. I thought something might have happened to the GBwOF. I also could not read Little Christmas (misunderstood song is a good one).
