I think it involves more than a wooden stake. There’s the cross and actually restraining it so that it can be staked…

My crazy friend who claims to be a vampire says that vampires LOVE garlic. They’re just trying to cut back. He doesn’t object to the wood thing though. Which might explain my habit of collecting small, pointy sticks…
