Rockwell was, first and foremost, a commercial artist, and yes, those were indeed different times. As Billy Joel said, “The good old days weren’t always good…”

Just did some quick reading; turns out Rockwell was not happy at the “Post”, and left specifically to be able to do political works like “The Problem We All Live With”, among others.

White people are generic, usually.
Generic people don’t invite hunts for wicked subtext that doesn’t exist, and related actions.
This also explains the multi-ethnic criminal gangs on TV cop shows.
