There was supposed to be a big wind storm this morning with 60 mph gusts, but it is as calm as can be. Perhaps it has left us unaffected because of the mountain behind our house. I am not complaining.I know that this iPad likes to self-correct, but it changed wind storm to Darian. ???? Maybe it’s possessed a demented computer nerd.
Yes Shika, November is usually our windiest month and we lose power a lot and sometimes for days, but for us to get it, it has to come from the north or west. We did not get wind here on the lake, just rain. Knock on wood.
They are saying you may all will get a bad winter and we may get a decent winter because of El Nina or some such weather trough! I’ll believe it when I see it!
All these commercials for all these stores opening up at midnite at the end of Thanksgiving, or 3, 4 or 5 am for Black Friday. ANYONE GETS UP THAT EARLY TO GO SHOPPING, IS NUTS!

Heavy rain, winds gusting to 100 mph at the coast with 25 foot waves. Hwy 18 is closed, blocked by fallen trees. YeeHah.
