True, the slanted bar on the cross is missing: but the onion domes…

“One who comes to mind is the patriarch Abraham who argued with G-d over Sodom and Gomorrah.”

Well, who can say? Abraham haggled God down from 50 righteous men to 10, for the sake of whom Sodom and Gomorrah should be spared, but Abraham wasn’t able to FIND 10 righteous men, so the cities were destroyed anyway. God, being omniscient, would have known full well that there weren’t 10 righteous men to be found in Sodom and Gomorrah, so Abraham’s bargaining would have been moot. If God knew that there were exactly three righteous men, and if Abraham had continued pressing his argument to where three would have been sufficient to save the cities, would God have agreed?

Anyway, this reminds me of a joke.

An old Jewish woman was walking down Brighton Beach with her three-year old grandson, when a huge wave crashes in and sweeps the child out to sea. The grandmother falls to her knees and wails to the heavens “Oh Lord, oh Lord, how could You do this? Have I not kept the Commandments? Did I survive the pogroms and the Nazis and come to America and raise good Jewish sons and daughters, all of whom I have seen buried before me, only to have my only grandchild, an innocent, the last of my sainted father’s bloodline, carried away to death before my very eyes? What have I done that You bring such suffering and woe to one who’s served You faithfully all her life?”

At that instand, a second huge wave crashes to the shore, and deposits the child, stunned and soaking but unharmed, directly at his grandmother’s feet. She looks the boy over carefully, brushes some seaweed off his clothes, and calls out to the sky “He was WEARING a HAT.”
