While traveling, BB King had a favorite “aquaintance” that would frequently visit him after his show for a private encore performance…One evening she told him before the show that to commemorate his birthday, she had his name tattoo’d in a “special place”, and to visit her after the show so that she could show him…. Later that evening when he arrived at the hotel, she greeted him in a less than formal attire, at which time she bent forward and raised the curtain to show him the newly embelished artwork… at which time he replied…“That’s nice, but…. who the hell is BoB?”
