And there may actually be a genetic difference between ‘us’ and the financial/economic parasite….class! there, I said it.
So democracy is only possible when we remove those gneetic differences from our breeding stock. Perhaps a spay and neuter program. That would be one option to consider.
And I suppose it never occurred to anyone that if gov’t were MUCH smaller and less powerful, there wouldn’t be as many opportunities for graft/influence? People will be people, so don’t concentrate power. If gov’t can give something to you, they can take it away.
Yes, actually, I can explain this. Fluctuations in Earth’s climate are caused by a variety of factors, such as deviations in Earth orbit (the Milankovitch Cycles), increased volcanic activity, and other things. The problem is that today, we should be in a period of global cooling, and we’re not. The Earth is actually getting warmer. We’ve identified causes for past climate changes. Here, the only one we can find is human activity.
And for that matter, a whole bunch of people with little money give some to a political candidate, and then expect “access and the candidate to do their bidding”……..

If it weren’t for that, Winslow, we’d have had climate legislation passed 15 years ago.
