Yesterday I watched my DVD of the 1951 “A Christmas Carol” (a/k/a “Scrooge”) with Alastair Sim. That usually jumpstarts my Spirit of Christmas Present, if it has trouble kicking in.
(Last week a gave a look to the George C. Scott version, since I’d heard good things, but I found it wanting.)
This is where you want to make the kids HELP you decorate or help you wrap gifts that aren’t for them… maybe pick out gifts for other people, or maybe even pick out some of their toys that they don’t play with to give to charity. :-)
