Man: *Gasp* Look! Yeti tracks...and they look fresh! After all these years of research, we finally have a chance to get from of their existence! Then, instead of being the object of ridicule and dismissed as myth-hunting drinks, we'll be embraced by the scientific community!! ...or not.

Well, getting pictures of Santa are easy, just pay the $10 at the Mall. Yeti has a much more elusive press agent, so the appearance fees are a lot higher. Should have put Rudolph on the stilts, and make it look like Yeti was out strolling with the Missus.

And they say scientists keep their minds open to all possibilities! Maybe it’s really a Yeti in a Santa suit playing tricks! They do that, you know. Ask your elf what you were really seeing.

Kali: “So this is what Santa does on his day off…”Oak Ridge Boy: “Would that be every other day but December 25th?”
It could be argued that December 25th is Santa’s ONLY day off. It depends on how he sets his clocks (the North Pole might be in all time zones, or none). If he starts his trip when the last child has fallen asleep on December 24 in Kiritimati, Kiribati (aka “Christmas Island” – coincidence?) – let’s say 11:00 PM local time, which would be 9:00 AM GMT – and finishes before the first child wakes on December 25 in Apia, Samoa – let’s say 5:00 AM locally (8:00 PM GMT) – that gives him 35 hours of non-stop work to do his job (if I did the math right). But when he finishes, he’s got 19 hours left where it’s still Christmas Day SOMEWHERE. Granted, he’ll likely need to sleep right through it, but do you really say “days off” about somebody who works the night shift?
