Get Fuzzy by Darby Conley for December 07, 2011
Transcript:
Satchel: I don't think I understand how you explain "inner peace." Bucky: Then I shall paraphrase... Satchel: Oh! I had a friend who did that in cancun once! I bet if I could paraphrase over the ocean, I'd be happier innerly, too. Bucky: Change of plans. I shall dumbaphrase. Satchel: Ooo, sounds dangerous.

Why does this appear to be a Moe and Curly thing? I’m waiting for the bops on the head and the eye gouges.
slug_queen almost 13 years ago
Those will commence shortly, knowing Bucky…
inshadowz almost 13 years ago
The bops on the head anyway. You may have to perform the eye gouges yourself, as a voluntary tribute ;)

You know, sometimes I actually feel sorry for Bucky. I mean Satchel is a great guy, but you have to admit, living with him could be a frustrating challenge…

It IS dangerous, Satchel!

This must be my day to get music stuck in my head. This is the second comic and comments to start that and it’s still early in the comics for me. naturally_easy‘s comment got this Novas song going for me. At least it’s better than the other one.

I do not know who I feel bad for. It shifts weekly, sometimes daily.
I want a cross over with pearls before swine. Bucky versus Rat.

One of these days, Rob will go to work and accidentally talk like a first-grade teacher, because that’s the only way his pets understand him.

Siamese can be a smart-ass. I had a Siamese who talked back (they are very chatty) and when I scolded her, she would go into the bathroom and unravel all the toilet paper. She tormented the dog who just didn’t seem to know what to do about her. He never hurt her no matter what she did to him. When I read this comic strip, I remember my Satchel and Bucky.

I agree with galxcbaby in that Bucky’s pose is priceless. Well done, Darby. I can just feel the frustration oozing out of him. And I feel for him. I like this Bucky better than the one who goes off on his narcissistic (sp?) flights of fantasy.

Bucky might tell Satchel to “pick two”! Boing!

I not only shared yesterday’s strip at work, it now sits on my bulletin board.Bucky in the 3rd panel – priceless!.Satchel misconstrues so easily. Wonder what he would make of a Zip Line?

The third panel contains my favorite Bucky expression of all time!
