Went golfing 75 times in three years? Sounds like a weekend with Barney (Boehner). The sad state of American politics is that the best ideas, like the best candidates, can’t survive. (especially when “modern conservatives” are involved) It would have been great to see Obama’s campaign pledges like Gitmo honored, but when reality does sink in, do we REALLY want a king, or go back to a “unitary executive” where Congress, or any opposition, has NO authority? We’re pulling out of Iraq, and hopefully Afghanistan, and away from dictatorship instead of toward it, so not all bad.

Obama went on vacation a whole 75 days. DAAAAAAAAMN. He’s gonna have to really slack off to get to bush’s number, which at this point in his “presidency” was well over 200 days.

Presidents don’t actually go on vacation, not in this age of communication. And that includes the golf course. As for Bush causing this meltdown, it’s just one more absurdity that you far-lefties have convinced yourself of. You might want to consider Frank, Dodd, Clinton, and the Community Reinvestment Act, and perhaps the many times the Bush Administration went to Congress with warnings that fell on deaf ears.
