I always have to check my address book each year before I send out Christmas cards. It isn’t good to send old Aunt Sally a Christmas card if she’s dead.
Every year when I go through my Christmas card list, I get really bummed out. When all your dearest friends are on the other side, what does that tell you? Why did nobody mention that we are all bubbles floating in a sunbeam?

An the Obits turns up to be our main reading material in the newspaper. Time to get new friends and have some fun.

it may shrink in one way. as in old friends. but it grows as their grandkids move out on their own. and get their own places to live.

Gee, that’s sad isn’t it? All my old friends are gone now, and that started back in 2000! (sniff!)
