Merry Christmoose?

The idea of sweets in ancient times (and in other parts of the world for that matter) differ greatly from those mainly valued in the US now. I put on a few pounds last week with zuchinni bread from a friend and sampling the vinegar butterscotch and cranberry oatmeal cookies that I made to share with sweet loving people. I was also looking up recipes for Amaretti and plan to make some for next weekend (lost those 3# that I gained).

Well thanks all who answered the eternal question, “what the heck is a Sugar Plum?” But I think Petey is right, they still sound very annoying.
