Commercial exploitation over this period makes my mood a little glass half-empty instead of my usual half-full.

Interesting that Rita thinks doubling the prices will get them customers.

I notice some readers assume that Carolina is just eye candy, and not too bright. Don’t fall for the cliche that good looking means slow thinking. She’s well educated with a high IQ. Rita’s the straw head in this picture. Although Carolina already has swayed men in the department store with a temp job as a Santa’s elf.

As long as that one day is December 24th, I think it’s a great idea. The last minute shoppers will pay anything. Although it would’t work on Dana. She’s ALWAYS at least a year ahead on her Christmas shopping.

I would buy something from Carolina any day, especially now that I see she needs orthopedic surgery. Look at her heels – one is at least an inch higher than the other.

Mort Walker once wrote about readers of Beetle Bailey who’d write in to point out that characters didn’t have the same amount of fingers from one pose to the next. He was surprised that they were paying so much attention to those details.
