Television Reporter: It wasn't complicated.
Man: The fact that you're pure evil is no problem... but this exposes you as a wild, passionate lover... you're so over.
So Rall believes someone who overcame financial and social adversity with nothing but smarts and hard work, to become a major political player is pure evil?
.
But I bet he thinks the guys pooping on cop cars in New York are good, right?
Cain is an idiot and an unconvincing leader. Remember, under his ‘leadership’, Godfather’s went from #6 to #8 pizza chain and it lost $100 million dollars. His 999 tax plan is too stupid for words, all the way around. He should have been out of the race loooong before we found out he is also a terrible person, too.
And Cain was a lobbyist, which should have set off red flags for teabaggers everywhere instead of attracting them (that says more about how stupid teabaggers are that Cain, but, you know…)
He’s pure evil because he’s teasing these ignorant cons that think a) he’s a serious candidate and b) that he actually has a chance at the nomination. Just pure evil. I feel sorry for those fools.
There’s a big jump from “I don’t agree with your politics” to “Pure evil.” I despise people who say it about conservatives as much as I despise the conservatives who say it about our President. Cain is not evil; neither is Obama.
Peoples: read “The fact that you’re pure evil” as “The fact that if you’re pure evil” and you’ll see the point that’s being made. Rall’s not going on about Cain; he’s pointing out how shallow is the electorate’s evaluation of him. From all sides. Sheesh.
^Why should we read “The fact that you’re pure evil…” as “The fact that if you’re pure evil…” when Rall didn’t write it that way? He put him in a Darth Vader costume for cryin’ out loud. Rall’s not “pointing out how shallow is the electorate’s evaluation of [Cain]”, this is Rall’s evaluation of Cain.
As others have posted elsewhere, it’s too bad Cain was brought down for allegations of “moral failings” rather than for recognition that he’s a terrible candidate, but that doesn’t mean we’re sorry to see him go.

No; the pure evil is Cain’s ridiculous tax plan and his phenomenal ignorance.
