Also, I’d like to make a belated comment regarding yesterday’s strip. Just maybe, Brad & Toni had TJ planted there at WW. He was part of their plan to ‘stick it’ to Ms awful. I hope they told the captain about her improper treatment of both of them! This way if she does call, he will disregard anything she says.

Does everyone know that Luann could wear the dress back to front? And do you all understand she’s not really, actually meant to be Linda Blair? I just want to clear those points up for everyone.

Well, Luann; a whole year has come and gone and after all this time, a romance that could have set off smoke alarms has again sat in the deep dark pit of dispair. But not to worry, Quill will not be alone on New Years Eve. And we know that the girl that he will be with is very into the idea of a hot and steamy romance with him. In other words, as usual, you blew it.

There are bras for backless dresses, and I’m sort of torn between noting that using the word “perkiness” about a comic character’s boobage is more than a little disturbing, and being forced to point out that Luann might have her dress on backwards. Either that or her head is screwed on wrong. I know it’s Sunday, but wake up, people! You should be noticing this stuff!

back in the very early 1960’s, there was a lass named vicky dugan, who caused quite a stir in society by wearing a backless dress to a function. the limeliters did a salute to her on an album in ‘62. i’m thinking perhaps luann wants to bring back that look…
