Oh, NOW I remember this story arc. I don’t think he ever meets this Girl Beagle ever again.

I didn’t realize Snoopy was a drop out. Dropouts don’t usually fly Sopwith Camels.

This is unfortunately the begiining of an era when Shultz lets Snoopy become larger than Peanuts. Hello Hallmark. KA-CHING!

Awwww… So sorry, Snoopy. Maybe you can just hang out with her until her Dad comes around… I hope it all works out for you; you deserve to be happy.

Snoopy loves the beagle and he is what 50 years old or older? Technically her father shouldn’t approve or disapprove, just give blessings, so could be just as old as he is.

POOR SNOOPY!

Is his house not like a mansion? Does he not have a butler and free food? (War Hero?) If she is 7 (49 dog years) and Daddy is still bossing her around, Snoopy may be better off alone. She will never leave, and dominating Dad will make his life miserable.

I think Snoopy needs to stand on top of his dog house and look ‘vulture-like’. It’ll improve his self-esteem. Poor heartbroken pooch.

Oh my poor Snoopy….I’m sad for you. You shouldn’t be alone at a time like this. Where’s your friend, Woodstock?

In the 1968 special “He’s Your Dog, Charlie Brown”, Charlie Brown tries to send Snoopy back to the Daisy Hill Puppy Farm for obedience training. In writing the letter to them, he refers to Snoopy as “one of your less distinguished alumni.”

I thought Snoopy never made it to obedience school. He stopped at Peppermint Patty’s house and just mooched off of her. Then she wised up and had him do all her housework and Snoopy came back to Charlie Brown. Anyone remember that cartoon special?
