"Man, this Darfur situation is unbelievable...What's wrong with people, anyway?" "Don't get me started on people! And what is Darfur?" "The place on TV right no! It's a world crisis, dude, like 400,000 people have died there!" "Yes, but does it affect the price of catnip? See, that's how you get people to care." "OK, I'm gonna leave before this turns into a big fight." "Perhaps if there were a Darfur video game..." "OK, now you're grounded. You're grounded for apathy."

Bucky is right though – for the majority of humans if it doesn’t directly affect them they are not going to physically do anything.

ttueric – PHYSICALLY do anything? Really? Not me. When I was in the Marine Corps, I loaded my @$$ up and went to another country where it didn’t affect me and I didn’t belong. It was called Vietnam – 1966-67. Nope, ‘physically’ has been done. Not doing it again! Aside from the fact that I’m too old.
