Doug just happens to be very sensitive to his environment….. And judging by the pillow under the little table’s tired feet, to the particular needs of every part of it.
Although given to moments of deep contemplation, and purposeful intentions; Doug can’t help but think, something has gone wrong. In a deliberate attempt to elevate his awareness and expand his emotional horizon Doug has found himself at a dead end on a one way street, a serious miscalculation on his journey into the golden years. Audrey will be home soon, Doug is hoping she’ll bring the doughnuts.
Shining the light to enhance the wood’s finer features, he realizes that the old addage of “Quality over Quantity” is certainly a message that can apply to one of his shortcomings as well…
