Satchel is outside Bucky's door. He asks: "Bucky? Are you asleep?" Bucky replies: "Yes." Satchel opens Bucky's door and says: "I can't sleep. Will you tell me a story?" Bucky replies: "No." Satchel says: "Please? I really can't sleep and you tell such wonderful-" Bucky, who is lying down in a drawer, replies: "Alright! Alright! Alright! Sit down!" Bucky says: "Once upon a time, there was a beautiful cat named Bucky, who lived with the most annoying dog in the world..." Satchel laughs: "Ha Ha! FICTION! Excellent!"

You know, I was thinking about making a comic strip about my kids. I just realized that Bucky and Satchel already covered this. My four-year-old wisecracking scheming daughter is Bucky and my 3yo sensitive boy who let’s her torment him and get him into trouble. Darby must have known years ago that kids like this were going to exist.
