Cul de Sac by Richard Thompson for December 16, 2011
Transcript:
Beni: Alice, I wouldn't worry too much about not having a Christmas tree yet. Even though it is almost Christmas! Alice: Good! Beni: If you don't get a tree in time for Christmas, maybe you can do a heartwarming story about how you have to decorate a pinecone and pretend it's a Christmas tree, but it's okay and it doesn't ruin Christmas! Unless it does ruin Christmas. In which case you'd better worry... Dill: Finished! That's the best Christmas card I've ever drawn! Alice: GAH.

Well DONE, Dill! Perhaps even a bit overdone!

Dill is focussed on his creative work. Beni is thinking too hard, and now Alice is worried…. Who dares say pre-school is blissful?

Dill draws so well that I’m sure he’s Richard Thompson in disguise! I love his card and wish he would send it to me. His card represents so well what Christmas is all about!

Dill answered our question from yesterday. As for the others, I think it’s called How Beni ruined Alice’s Christmas… or at least gave her nightmares anyway.

Most kids try to learn to draw within the lines. Dill needs to work on staying on the page!
