Every time we go out to buy a replacement for something that breaks or wears out, repeat after me: “They don’t make that anymore!” Pluggers are starting to feel a little obsolete.
I still have a boom-box, walkman, and turntable for all the records I bought back in the late 1980s when I was a teenager (which I still have to this day).

ghetto blaster? still too modern. a nice little transistor radio or a plug-in table model (g.e. or philco) will suit me just fine.

I had a problem finding a 78 rpm turntable for my shellacs. They looked at me like I was asking for a cylinder player.
