there’s a scene in the classic 1938 version of “A Christmas Carol” where Bob Marley is walking down the busy sidewalk, depressed that he has just been fired by Scrooge. what alleviates his depression and causes him to laugh with joy is the vastly comical sight of a dead goose being carried down the street by the person in front of him. what sparks the hilarity is the dead goose’s limp head is swaying back and forth as it is being carried.so, next time you are depressed, kill a goose and watch it’s head sway back and forth when you tote it around.that always gets me to guffaw

Do people still eat goose for Christmas? It seems like a forgotten tradition.
