Merry Christmas! And I wish I could pass on some of my yummy breakfast bread that I just put in the oven (so many ingredients that it takes more time to mix than bake). This is the first time I added chia to the flax, hulled sunflower and chopped walnuts. Also has chopped cored apples, raisons and wheat germ mixed in with the cinnamon whole wheat flour and rolled oats.
I see, as bonfire parties are no longer in vogue, Yoda’s spirit now appears under the halogen desk lamps of geeks on Christmas Eve. I’ll keep an eye out for the little Jedi. Merry Christmas!
@ Scott, thanks! I try to convert more of my friends to eating healthy foods. I give a sample and recipe often, but unless they make a permanent change it will not matter. Alton Brown was on Dr Oz this week but has not talked about the change to healthy food on his FB page (hope he will). I’m so glad that my own data is so good now and at 74 I have better health than when I was 50. also BMI and many others. I’m glad to see more like Alton becoming health concious.
I got the best present Saturday night with my BF who has become platonic with long distance calling to say he has enlarged photo of me in his room and looks forward to next visit (now I do too) we were on the phone more than 3 hours and I am happier today. And my children are the age of Scott and John (3 boys followed by 1 girl 1960-1964).
