@)0otenAboot, and@truecanadianliberalre:yesterdays postsno i cant spell. i never have ben able to. when i was in grade school i was reading at a level far above my peers. when they were reading about curious george, i was reading about john carter of mars, and tarzan. when they started to read about the hardy boys and nancy drew, i was reading herbert, doc smith, asamov, simac, clark, and heinlein. and all that time they could not come up with a spelling test that i could pass. no matter how hard the teachers worked with me i failed. when i read, the words are entirely comprehensible. when i put them down on paper, right or wrong, it all looks wrong. so excuse me if i don’t measure up to your expectations. i gave up trying to win that battle a long time ago. it only frustrates me. they created spell check just for me. even if they did not know it at the time. so, i have deleted my knee jerk reaction to your posing and flagged your personal attack on me on this public forum. i will ask you to keep your opinions about my failings to yourself. thank you very much..
And also Hallford, those “persons” throwing insults, should also realize that some people, what they call “basic english” is actually someones SECOND language and some english words are hard to comprehend and spell. So yes I agree with you, they need to learn manners instead of being “language police”.
