Arnold Schwarzenegger was teaching an acting symposium, and he said, “We will now improvise a scene in which some of you will play the parts of famous baroque composers.” He pointed at one young man and said, “You – you will be Antonio Vivaldi.” He pointed at another and said, “You – you will be Georg Philip Telemann.” He tapped his own chest and said, “And as for me, I’ll be Bach.”
I’m bummed no one thought my rabbit-ear antenna pun was worthy of feedback, or just too late in the day. I usually can’t get here until noon Pacific time. You guys are long gone by then, mostly. As for today; If he was sittin’ 3 feet to his left he’d really had something to cry about!
As a former pianist, I have to say I had to reach 30 to begin to appreciate the Master, but then what a joy! The Toccata and Fugue in Dm is, IMHO, the finest, most exciting music ever written.

At least he isn’t listening to Pachelbel’s Canon by himself.I would think that would be weird. (chick music)

The English translation of “bach” is “brook”. “Broke Brook Mountain” sounds nearly as funny as the original punchline.
