On laptops you usually have to hold Alt+Fn and then type 13 or 14 on the “numpad” keys (the ones below number keys 7-8-9), 13 for single note, 14 for double. Aside from 7-8-9 the number keys at the top won’t work for this. Mind you, some laptops are picky about key order. Mine wants to press and hold Alt first, then Fn, then the numbers, then release Alt and Fn.

It took her little time to write it and less time to break it.

Thanks guys!!!! I found the FN button on my laptop. And I worked my way through 12-19. ♀ is from Alt FN 12.Something to add to the shift 8 keypad that runs along the top of the keyboard. Way cool!
