As IT at a school district, those two weeks and the summer break were the buzy time as we upgraded and replaced equipment. Sometimes even movewd to new buildings.
I work in a medical office. Appointments are always booked this week, but there are lots of no shows and last minute cancellations. It always SEEMS like a good idea to take the kids to the doctor when they’re on break anyway. But, when it comes right down to it, there’s too much else that needs doing.
I’m off this week too. I plan it that way, and I have the excuse that I have to “use it or lose it” by Dec 31, which is true, so I save a few days just for that, and Rita, you can’t touch that Girl! LOL!

Where i worked the week between Christmas and New Years was the quietest of the year. You could get work done without any interuptions.
