The way Burroughs writes the fights with the various apes and Tarzan in the books is wonderful. The struggle to get the apes into a full nelson and the pressure on their necks when Tarzan strains is done very well. Tarzan kills a lion in a similar fashion in one of the early books, when it is trying to get into the window of his cabin.
If this follows the original story, Miss Jane Porter should be making an appearance very soon……..Jambo and a Good Friday to tribe mates one and all! :)=

The battle with Terkoz as drawn by Hogarth is fantastic. DC Comics reprinted it in the 1970’s in their giant size Tarzan comic.
