BTW, the story right now is “slightly” different than the 1929 story……… on March 20, after the first panel, Clayton left to search for both old men, and than Esmeralda entered the cabin and got frightened by seeing the 3 skeletons(Tarzan’s dad and mom, and the baby ape)

that is when the crew of the ship left and went back to the ship…. than we get into Tarzan scaring the leopard, and to the story we have seen so far
Perhaps Captain Hook and his scurvy band of pirates have returned for some more fun and games, or maybe Aunt Jemimah blew up her latest batch of banana macadamia nut pancakes! Oh, the horror…………. right, Bwana Q?

why didnt he just scare off the lion like he did the leopard?I dont remember there being quite so many dead animals in the book.
