they gonna skip the “see Jane again” part of the story? in original story, it took weeks to get the results, and d"Arnot sent results in a telegram to Tarzan who was in America
@Ray C – well, all the highlights on that cat. From this angle, she really should be in silhouette. Not one to complain though. Classic stuff. And alternate universes don’t work the same as ours.
in “this story”, instead of Tarzan giving to d’Arnot the black book, d’Arnot found the book……. and d’Arnot went to the police, tarzan gave his fingerprints, and than d’Arnot gave the police the book……….. than they took the chest to a bank, and found that it had doublons and other gold pieces, and tarzan wanted to take chest to America, but d’Arnot got him to cash it, in original story he got about 200K(for late 19th century, early 20th, it would be like AT LEAST 1 million, most probably like 5 million). and d’Arnot got tarzan a high class ticket on a boat to America plus a brand new car, on the trip he saved a boy who went overboard, and the mom of boy knew Jane, and told tarzan exactly where she lived…….. I will stop here, to see how the comic will continue later on, as a new storyline starts tomorrow, 7396 (today) is the last part for tarzan tells his story part 2
Very interesting bunch of comments today; from totally nonsensical and absurd to animal preservation and population control, not to mention those instant fingerprint comparisons—far quicker than DNA test results from the CSI crime lab! Perhaps Mr. Brickhouse was attacked by black panthers (lionesses usually hunt in group called prides), or got busted for texting while driving and couldn’t make bail—but, seriously Mr. Sydman, he mentioned something weeks ago about being “thrown off” his favourite comic site and has not been heard from since that time……….:)=

Excellent art in the last panel, except with the moon behind her I don’t know how we’re seeing those highlights. Best just relax and enjoy the show.
