Transcript:
Alice: Dill, why do you wear that silly hat? Try mine on - Dill: It won't work. Alice: Of course it'll work. Dill: My head is too round. It won't stay on - Noise: Pop. Alice: Ha ha! Do it again! Ha ha! Pull it way down over your face! Dill: Okay, stand back... Dad: This happened how? Alice: Dill's big dumb head. I took his silly clown hat so we'd be even.

If Kevin had pulled it over his bucket head, it might have gone into orbit.

Yeah that does look like a clown hat. A 16th century Italian clown hat, in fact.

And there’s still plenty of pop left in that hat, too.

this is so precious! I’ve had hats that wouldn’t stay on. Always blamed the elastic – now I know.

Alice, you shouldn’t have taken his hat; it WAS your fault! @Astute, very true.@Celecca, my head is large; had trouble buying a good cowboy hat to fit. Found a nice one in red (love it!)

I’m coming to the conclusion that this strip is funnier than Peanuts ever was.
