I’d guess none of the artists chose a hydrant as subject because they do not want them used by dogs.

The Tardis didn’t need a hydrant. K9 was a robotic dog, but I love the snow Tardis.

I used to have a male dog that would bark at the hydrants! Brings back memories of him………….
