I feed the birds and occasionally one will hit the window and die. I will put the dead bird at the edge of the woods. It is always gone the next morning. It becomes a food source for other birds and wildlife. here where I live, it is almost all small birds like finch and junco that crash into the window. Even though I am visited by many crows, robins and grosbeak, they just seem to figure out where not to fly.

I find a dual-mount Browning .30 cal belt fed keeps them (and the neighbors) away nicely…
