Mr. Spock has said, on occasion, he was Guessing. Capt. Kirk has indicated that he preferred a Guess from Spock instead of a Prediction from others. Predictions are supposed to be a ‘correct’ interpretation of a Theory. Non-pseudo-scientists are always looking for Facts that disprove a Theory- that’s how they get to be famous. SWAGs are used by people like me- Scientific Wild A ss Guess. And, we are humble enough to warn others to ‘stand clear’.
