This is a badge of honor. All the funny strips are disliked, and the popular ones had their prime in the 1960’s.I bet Dr Quinn Medicine Woman does real well in Borger, too.

Their favorite comics were Family Circus, Blondie, Peanuts, and Beetle Bailey. That suggests that Borger exists in a 1960s time warp. I’m guessing that their favorite TV show would be reruns of Father Knows Best.
