@mabrndtI would be very happy to see a movie (or HBO mini series) about the 761st. I chose 761st as a tribute to a group of men I had never known about even though I was an avid reader of WWII books growing up. I read Kareem Abdul Jabbar’s book and was Very Disappointed in the historians and journalists as well as polititians who actively buried or coldly overlooked an amazing group of men. George Lucas put $ 100 Million of his own $ in “Redtails” and if it succeeds in the theaters, perhaps that will spur a 761st movie (not documentry) as Saving Private Ryan did for Band of Brothers. BTW It would be cool to meet o chat with one of the “Panthers” especially Capt. John Long, the “Black Patton!”
