Um, he realizes most buffets allow people to go back right?

I remember going through a all-you-can-eat buffet in Reno. You can only pass through the line once, but the plate was a big as car steering wheel.

A better question for this one: More embarrassing to overload your plate or make multiple trips? If I go to an unfamiliar buffet and were not concerned with caloric intake, I would take a small serving of everything, then return for more of the things I liked best. I never overloaded a plate. This resembles Burl Penny, except he’d nover be embarrassed;-)

That’s how I used to be at buffets—my girlfriends used to get SO mad at me! lol

As for the sneeze-guard—I didn’t know that’s what that was! I know a lot of people cough around the food, and I don’t think that guard guards against that.

I was helping our small son get his meal, and he asked what the glass over the food was. I said “It’s called a sneeze guard”. He looked even more puzzled and asked “How often do vegetables sneeze?”

@garycarroll Too cute!@Tony. Sometimes I think sneezing on the food is the least of our problems. Seen too many people cough or wipe their noses with their hands, then touch the serving utensils or the food itself. Plus how many people don’t wash after the restroom. I’ve been tempted to bring gloves.

@garycarroll That’s cute! You should send that in to “Saturday Evening Post” or “Reader’s Digest”!

I’m short enough that they usually smack me in the face when I try to get something.
