I always thought of the trousseau as being much more than the wedding dress. At the very least, all the clothes for the honeymoon. At one time, the bride was expected to have enough clothes that the husband wouldn’t have to buy any for her during the first year of marriage.I was at first suprised by the pink and white wedding dress. Weekdays are all black and white so it just looked white.
