Our local chick-fil-a is doing this … me and my family are going … we’re trying to miss the insanity of regular overcrowded restaurants … did this once for girl before I knew my wife about 25 years ago at Gladstones in Malibu, CA … took 4 hours of waiting after limo was 1 hour late WITH pre-made reservations … spent $100 on dinner, $400 the entire night – I think I got a kiss out of it … that’s why I’m married to a different woman now for the last 22 years … ;-))
Hey, don’t knock it. Mrs. M not only had a coupon for a free entree at a local chain eatery, she also had a jump-the-line pass (which came in real handy). I’m so glad I married a cheap date!
No, you’re a plugger if you’re careful with your money and don’t have the average $15,000 worth of debt most Americans have. Sadly, there aren’t many twofers anymore. Even Ruby Tuesday limits you to $10.
